Cause
This error is received, when you attempt to mount a dynamic volume under a path that resides on a WSFC controlled basic volume.
Notice that the error appears only if the basic volume is placed under cluster control, or associated with a WSFC role.

Resolution
Use a dynamic volume, or from WSFC perspective, a VMDg resource, to serve as the root of the mount paths, or additional dynamic volumes.
Issue/Introduction
An error is received when attempting to add a mount path to a dynamic (cluster) volume, that is located on a WSFC (Windows Server Failover Clustering) controlled basic disk, or volume.
