Historical data collection is not enabled.
Resolution
From the Veritas Enterprise Administrator (VEA ) GUI, enable Historical Data Collection.
Tools > Statistics View > Start historical Data Collection as shown in Figure 1 below:

Issue/Introduction
The
vxstat command returns zero read or write events for the first five seconds after being run.
In this example, notice that all counters display "0.":
C:\>vxstat -v -g FS2_DG
