Description

The EMC MirrorView mirrors are created using a single disk (one disk from each EMC CLARiiON arrays, ie primary and secondary array)

The advantage is that the user can manage multiple mirrors when using a consistency group.

The following consistency group "asyncCG" consists of three EMC MirrorView groups, asyncSOLMirr1, asyncSOLMirr2 and asyncSOLMirr3.

VCS EMC MirrorView Agent Available:

Veritas Cluster Server provides an agent for EMC MirrorView which provides support for application failover and recovery.

The agent provides this support in environments that use MirrorView to replicate data between CLARiiON arrays.
The agent monitors and manages the state of replicated CLARiiON arrays that are attached to VCS nodes.

The agent ensures that the system that has the MirrorView resource online also has safe and exclusive access to the configured arrays.
