PnP/Volume arrival issues
Perform below steps to resolve the volume arrival issues.
1. Browse to Device Manager and enable "Show Hidden Devices".
2. Under the list of "Other Devices", uninstall "Unknown Devices".
3. Perform "Scan for hardware changes" in the Device Manager and confirm no more "Unknown Devices" are reported.
4. From elevated command prompt, run the command "vxassist rescan".
5. In Veritas Enterprise Administration (VEA), the Missing or Stopped should now be available in a Healthy state and the Tasks bar in VEA should log a success event for "Processed device arrival" against each of the problem volumes.
6. You can then assign a drive letter to them and check the contents of the volume(s).
