followed with:

Cause

This is a known issue.

The inode's incore information gets inconsistent as one of its field is getting modified without the locking protection.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in 6.1.1.100 patch for VxFS which can be downloaded from the SORT website. The patch will first require installation of 6.1.1 maintenance release.

Issue/Introduction

VxFS file system is disabled due to a write error. However, no IO error evidence is found in the system message logs. When checking the state of the file system, no actual user data or metadata errors are found.
