Cause
Coordpoint resource monitors fencing mechanism. If disk fencing is configured, the resource could become faulted because of disk issues, such as disconnection between the server and the SCSI devices.
The following errors might be seen in /var/log/messages:
kernel: connection1:0: ping timeout of 5 secs expired, recv timeout 5, last rx 4497995467, last ping 4498000472, now 4498005488 kernel: connection1:0: detected conn error (1022)
You might also notice in /etc/vx/dmpevents.log the following errors:

Resolution
Consult with your storage team and/or OS vendor to resolve the disk issues. Once the disk issues have been resolved you can restart fencing.
