MAC address fail to update for IP and NIC resource in Veritas Cluster (VCS) Console.

Cause
Node name value for the MAC address attribute in NIC and IP resource is case sensitive.
Hostname/Node name values in VCS Windows/Unix are case sensitive.
Example : Entries for server01 and SERVER01 would be seen as two different cluster nodes in VCS.
Resolution
Ensure all the entries for the node name values in main.cf (%vcs_home%\conf\config\main.cf) are in uppercase.
Note : Other cluster configuration files may need to be changed if they show the lower case hostnames too.
