Cause

Some internal functions called from fsmigadm command are not working expectedly on a system with SELinux enabled.

The detail is still under investigation.

 

This issue is observed on following product and version.

InfoScale 7.4.1

 

Resolution

Disabling SELinux can prevent the issue from occurring.

Veritas is planning to release private fix for this issue.

 

 

 

Issue/Introduction

If you run the fsmigadm command on a system with SELinux enabled and try to migrate a file system from ext4 to vxfs, the command will fail.
