Cause
Issue happens due to license has either expired or invalid.
To check if there are any issue with license you can run the following command to check.
"C:\Program Files\Veritas\VRTSsfmh\bin\vxlicrep.exe"
If we see the following error then there is some issue with current license keys.
"vxlicrep ERROR V-21-1-13 Validation failed" error.
This could be either license keys are corrupt or user have expired Subscription type license earlier and trying to add license new Perpetual based license.
Resolution
Ensure the following path "C:\Program Files\Veritas\VRTSsfmh\bin" is added under environment path variable.
Take a backup of old license keys in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Veritas Shared\vrtslic\" and delete the folders.
Add the valid license key by running the following command:
vxlicinstupgrade.exe -k "
