vxvm:vxconfigd: V-5-1-16251 Disk group deport of dg failed with error 70 - Volume or plex device is open or attached

Cause

vxprint -g -m | grep devopen

The above command returns "devopen=on" for one of the volumes

The files /etc/mtab and  /proc/self/mounts show the mount point is listed under autofs

 

Resolution

Stopping the autofs service permits the deport the diskgroup and offlining the service group

 

Issue/Introduction

Service group that includes a MountPoint resource fails to offline.
