i.e. HostMonitor determining no swap left

Cause

At the time, HostMonitor reported no swap left so a check was made to confirm using an OS command, i.e.

swap -s
total: 666728192k bytes allocated + 76093528k reserved = 742821720k used, 3790289584k available

 

so, a clear discrepancy.

Resolution

The fix was worked such that the agent could handle multi-Terabyte swap configurations. Hot-fix for Bundled agents -  7.3.1.103  - was supplied. Please contact Veritas Technical Support for the hot-fix.
