Cause

External issue is preventing connection to vCenter or ESX host from the cluster node. Verify by trying to connect to vCenter UI via web browser on the cluster node using the username and password configured in VCS resource.  If this connection is successful, then VMWareDisks will be able to probe. Any error in this connection should be investigated by the appropriate teams.

Resolution

Issue needs to be resolved by network and/or VMWare teams.
