Cause

SQLServer will reset MSDTC security settings once it starts on the host where MSDTC is running

Resolution

Create registry Key HKLM\Software\Veritas\VCS\EnterpriseAgents\SQLServer\ with DWORD IgnoreMSDTCSecurity set to 1

Issue/Introduction

If MSDTC configured as "No Authentication Required" mode
If MSDTC group onlined first then SQLServer group onlined on the same host, then Authentication mode will change to "Authentication Required"
