Alerts

Veritas Technologies LLC issues alerts for issues involving potential data loss, security vulnerabilities or other critical issues often requiring immediate action. 

To access alerts for InfoScale

1. Access the Veritas Support site at:
   https://supportinfoscale.cloud.com
2. Click the Knowledge base icon.
3. Click the Technical alerts tab.
4. Select InfoScale & Storage Foundation from the Product filter in the left pane.

Patches

Patches for InfoScale on Windows will be posted on the Veritas Support site. Veritas recommends that you check for any patches that may be available and required for each release.

To access patches for InfoScale

1. Access the Downloads page of the Veritas Support site at:
   https://downloads.infoscale.com
2. Select InfoScale & Storage Foundation from the Product dropdown at the top left corner.
3. Select one of the following products from the Sub product dropdown:
   • InfoScale Availability
   • InfoScale Enterprise
   • InfoScale Foundation
   • InfoScale Storage
4. Select the product version from the Version dropdown.
5. Click Explore.
6. Expand the Updates section to view the available patches.

Known Issues

Known issues at the time of the GA release date are included in the Veritas InfoScale Release Notes document for the respective platform.

Known issues that are identified later are listed here and/or described in their own articles in the knowledge base.

To access knowledge base articles for InfoScale

1. Access the Veritas Support site at:

3. Click the Knowledge base tab if it is not already open.
4. Select InfoScale & Storage Foundation from the Product filter in the left pane.
5. Select the appropriate component from the Product Feature filter if you want to narrow down the search results in the right pane.

Documentation

Platform-specific release documentation is available on the Veritas Support site.

To access documentation for InfoScale

1. Access the Veritas Support site at:
   https://docs.infoscale.com
2. Click the Documentation icon.
3. Click the Documentation tab.
4. Select InfoScale & Storage Foundation from the Product filter in the left pane.
5. Select the appropriate platform from the Platform filter.
6. Select the appropriate type from the Document Type filter.
7. Select the appropriate version from the Choose Version dropdown in the right pane.
8. Alternatively, you can type the document title in the search bar at the top if you want to narrow down the search results.

The hardware compatibility list (HCL) contains information about supported hardware and is updated regularly. The software compatibility list (SCL) summarizes each Veritas InfoScale product stack and the corresponding features, operating system versions, and third-party products that it supports.
