In system logs, similar messages may be generated while starting vxfen:

vxfenconfig ERROR V-11-2-1090 Unable to register with a majority of the coordination points.

Dell Technologies and Veritas have identified an interoperability issue with new functionality introduced in Unity OE 5.2 related to SCSI-3 Persistent Reservation.  The issue will impact Veritas IO Fencing operations in multipath environments on Unity arrays running Unity OE 5.2.0 and Unity OE 5.2.1.

A Unity OE hotfix is available that addresses this issue.  Please contact Dell Technologies and reference the following knowledge article if you want to have the hotfix installed:
