The UI would hang and finally report the error below.

Veritas Product Installer has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available

Checking the Windows Application event logs will report Event ID 1000 as below

Faulting application name: CCFEngine.exe, version:8.0.100001.1,

Faulting module name: VPIHelper.dll, version:8.0.100001.1,

Exception code: 0xc0000417

Fault offset: 0x0020ce68

The issue occurs when attempting an install of Infoscale 8.0.1 on Windows Server 2019 or lower, as it is not compatible with these OS versions.

Infoscale 8.0.1 is compatible with Windows Server 2022 only.

For any version, lower than Windows Server 2022, Infoscale 8.0 needs to be installed.
