After installing the VRTSvxvm 6.0.500.305 patch on a HP11.31 system where the boot disk is under VxVM control (ie rootdg exists), the system fails to boot up.

Cause
This is due to the VRTSvxvm 6.0.500.305 patch being installed without first installing the VxVM 6.0.5.300.
The README_VTAS.UNOF_6_0_5_30x_kern files for VxVM 6.0.5.301-6.0.5.304 mention that the following patch is required

BASE PACKAGE NAME : VRTSvxvm
BASE PACKAGE VERSION : 6.0.100.0
SUPERSEDED PATCHES : UNOF_6_0_5_303_kern
REQUIRED PATCHES : PVCO_04061 (part of the VxVM 6.0.5.300)
but this dependency was missing in the README_VTAS.UNOF_6_0_5_305_kern file. This has now been added and the patch tarball refreshed.
Resolution
First install the VxVM 6.0.5.300 patch and then the VRTSvxvm 6.0.500.305 patch.
