Error Message

Failed to check if administrative shares are accessible.

Logs show the following:

00010120-00000138: CRegistry::Query for Root directory failed. Error=00000001.
00010120-00000296: SFWHA is installed. Node=''
00010120-00000265: ExecMethod return 00000000.
00010120-00001516: Install path is invalid. '\\\'. Node=''
00010120-00000081: Failed to check if administrative shares are accessible. Node=''.

Cause

The RootDirectory is missing from HKLM\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\VCS\Base key

Resolution

Run repair for Infoscale from Add/Remove programs to restore the missing RootDirectory registry key. 

VCW should now be able to complete the node verification.
