Error V-76-58645-589
Import the cluster dynamic disk group failed
Error V-76-58645-182
INTERNAL Error - Dynamic disk group has no valid configuration copies
This issue can occur in the following scenarios:
a) Fresh install of OS and InfoScale
b) Operating System (OS) upgrades.
c) Reinstall of OS
In all instances, this occurs due to the Windows Multipathing I/O (MPIO) feature not being installed. Therefore, disks are duplicated with each path.
For example, Harddisk1 with 4 paths configured and without the MPIO feature, will show as 4 separate disks and attempts to import will fail as the InfoScale software will be unable to process them.
During OS upgrades, it may cause the MPIO feature installation to get reset, thereby causing this issue.
1. Open Control Panel | Programs and Features | select the Turn Windows features on or off option in the left-hand pane.

2. Select Next on the Add Roles and Features Wizard | Role-based or feature-based installation | Next.
3. Select the server and choose Next.
4. Select Next on the Server Roles screen to move to the Features view.
5. Select the Multipath I/O option.

NOTE: If this option is already selected, the steps below will not apply. If it is not selected, proceed with the next steps.
6. Select Next then click on the Install button.
NOTE: A reboot will be required following this feature installation.
7. Select Restart the destination server automatically if required box for the wizard if an automated reboot is permitted. Else, do not check the box and manually reboot the server once the feature has been installed.
Following the reboot, open VEA and check if the Diskgroup is successfully imported (Secondary Dynamic Disk Group), or attempt to manually import it, if it is a Clustered Dynamic Disk Group.
