Error Message

The VCS engine log reports:

2023/10/10 08:30:54 VCS INFO V-16-20002-211 (xxx) Netlsnr:lsnr_poule10:monitor:Monitor procedure /opt/VRTSagents/ha/bin/Netlsnr/LsnrTest.pl returned the output: sh: cannot create temp file for here-document: No space left on device

2023/10/10 08:30:54 VCS ERROR V-16-2-13067 (xxx) Agent is calling clean for resource(lsnr_poule10) because the resource became OFFLINE unexpectedly, on its own.

The /tmp filesystem had become full and caused the resource to fault.

There are currently no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. While this issue may be resolved in a future major revision of the software at a later time, it is not currently scheduled for any release.  If you feel this issue has a direct business impact for you and your continued use of the product, please contact your Veritas Sales representative or the Veritas Sales group to discuss these concerns.

Ensure that /tmp (a critical operating system filesystem) is not allowed to fill to 100%, else it can lead to a fault.
