Error Message

The issue is seen in 2 ways:

a) The task in the graphic below does not complete:

b) The following error is seen in the /var/opt/VRTSsfmh/logs/error.log file:

gzip: /var/opt/VRTSsfmh/zHkGP_7CMv/vom-8.0.0.510.tar.gz: not in gzip format

Out of memory! 
 

Cause

The VIOM management server is not configured with enough memory. The issue can also be seen if the /var or /tmp do not have enough free space.

 

Resolution

Increasing memory used by the VIOM Management Server to a minimum 4GB and ensuring that both /tmp and /var are not full, should allow the operation to be completed.
