The cause of the faults is undetermined at this time.

To alleviate the issue, the Veritas Operations Manager resources (SFM_Services_XPRTLDD and SFM_Services_XPRTLDS) have been modified to be more tolerant of potential network interruption.

The change consists of greater tolerance/checks to the xprtld daemon via new monitor scripts and modifying the MonitorTimeout and MonitorInterval attributes of the aforesaid resources.

The changes are scheduled to be built into Veritas Operations Manager 8.0.0.500 patch, due later in 2024.
