Error Message

All 4 VMwareDisks error in the same way around the same time. Cluster Server (VCS) engine_A.log reports:

2024/07/29 05:24:09 VCS ERROR V-16-2-13027 (xxxxxx) Resource(vmdisk_dgsh01) - monitor procedure did not complete within the expected time.
 

Based on the VMwareDisks_A.log file, there is a problem with the VMwareDisks agent contacting the ESX server, as is seen in the error below:

2024/07/29 05:25:30 VCS ERROR V-16-10061-22503 VMwareDisks:Failed to login to ESX xxx.xxx-xx.xxx.com with error 'SOAP_TCP_ERROR

SOAP 1.1 fault: SOAP-ENV:Client [no subcode]

"Connection timed out"

Detail: connect failed in tcp_connect()

The timeout issue was referred to the customer's VMware support and the issue resolved.
