Description

Error Message

There are no error messages.

Cause

It is expected that the inactive message will be seen after 25 minutes of inactivity. If the Web Server Session Timeout is set to 60, 120 or -1, then the session can be continued and the user will not be returned to the login prompt.

The -1 setting reverting to 24 is not expected. Whilst the -1 setting is being honored in the background, it is not being displayed correctly in the GUI.

Resolution

The Product Engineering team currently plans to address this issue through a patch or hotfix in the current software version. Please note that our company reserves the right to withdraw any fix from the targeted release if it fails quality assurance tests. Development plans are subject to change, and any actions you take based on this information, or your reliance on it, are at your own risk.

This issue with the display of the -1 value for the Web Server Session Timeout has been fixed in the VIOM-Patch-8.0.2.540 patch.
