The main system log showed various VxFS threads in a hung state, e.g.

Aug 10 04:32:43 ***** kernel: ? vx_write1_fast+0x87f/0xec0 [vxfs]
 

is a call that is referenced in the syslog and which Arctera Engineering say can loop infinitely

The issue relates to changes made in RHEL 9.6 with Non-Uniform Memory Access (NUMA) code

VxFS 8.0.2.2801 has been released to avoid the hang symptoms and to allow VxFS to work with RHEL 9.6 NUMA changes. Please open a support case with Arctera in order to obtain.

The issue is also addressed in patch 8.0.2 update 7, which can be obtained https://docs.infoscale.com.
